Who can apply for an ISIC card?
Anyone enrolled full-time at a recognised educational institution, at any age. Teachers apply for an ITIC; people aged 30 or under who are not studying apply for an IYTC.
How long is my card valid?
Twelve months from the date of issue. The expiry date is printed on the card and shown in the app.
How quickly do I get my card?
Your digital card appears in the app as soon as your application is approved, usually within two working days. The physical card is posted within ten working days.
What does a card cost?
An ISIC, ITIC or IYTC card costs €15 for twelve months. There are no additional fees.
Which proof do I need to upload?
Proof of enrolment or a student card showing the current academic year. Teachers upload an employer statement.
My application was rejected. What now?
Usually the proof was unreadable or expired. You receive an email explaining why and can resubmit your documents free of charge.
Can I get a refund?
Digital cards are available immediately and are therefore excluded from the right of withdrawal once activated. If your application is rejected, we refund you in full.
Does my card work abroad?
Yes. ISIC is recognised in more than 100 countries. Benefits per country are listed in the app and on isic.org.
I lost my card.
Your digital card remains available in the app. Contact us for a replacement physical card.
